it bogs down (slows) and dies, as in it has too much load on it - like my lawnmower does when I try to go through a big leaf pile with it. :)
if I remove the load (shut off a heater) in time, it can recover. Like my lawnmower when I pull it out of the leaves before it quits.
Based on what the Champion tech told me, it should handle this load fine. I'm leaning toward engine also - maybe gas, maybe valve clearances, maybe ??? I think I put a new plug in it last year.
I liked somebody's suggestion of synthetic oil too.
Someday I'll get enough time and energy to pull the head & check the clearances.
