Not even a copy of a Briggs engine

And yes iirc it is a CDI ignition
With electronic AVR on the generator head

What had not been mentioned is the exact model number and how old
CPE stopped making dual voltage 240/120 3500w models a number of years ago

The OP did not mention how many hours of use are on this generator
If he did mention it, I missed seeing that info
