Changing from Converter to Inverter
Questions I have when changing from a Converter to a Inverter. With an Inverter When not plugged into shore power will all outlets and appliances work automatically as 110 off of the batteries? ...

many RVs do come with inverter/charger combo units
inverter/charger units cost more $$, use more batteries for the large inverter, need additional wiring to feed the 120vac output into the RV electrical
it will charge when the generator is running or shore power is plugged in
will switch to invert mode when there is NO 120v available,
needs extra wiring during install, to be connected to main 120v input to panel, just like the genny/shore power, needs to be after the primary OEM transfer switch, between TS and circuit breaker power panel
or rig a 30amp shore outlet from inverter and plug in your shore cord
