Good to see you got a laugh out of my comments
As for a mountain bike - Two of them at $2K each the wifes' and mine
I tend to go with high quailty and only think about price if it's extreme
Yes we looked at the $5K mountain bikes and thought that to be "extreme" in my case where we use them maybe five or ten times per year
Again we are all different
I strongly recommend a quality MPPT controller for anything above about 200 watts IMO it's the ONLY way to go
One that can be programmed and has ample room for expansion
Along with higher voltage panels
Below 200 watts is a "small" system and can be matched to a good quality PWM controller with nominal 12 VDC panels - but what does the future hold regarding expansion changes etc? Will you be limited and have to replace existing equipment ..........what about the wasted time and effort .......To each their own
I Prefer QUALITY toys aka Tools that are ready for what might happen now and in the future
