amperage is what you care about, the chargers will go full speed up to your charge voltage, they generally will only be a lower voltage if they are at 100%, once the batteries start tapering the voltage will climb to your float voltage

2 amps is not a lot of juice. And even if it was the 14.8 voltage should not be increased.

At 77F GC batteries need 14.8V in bulk mode. Don't increase unless it's really cold. Drawn amps (or any amps) don't matter much, as long as you see proper volts on the battery terminals.

For a while a two speed furnace was made. I don't remember the details but it seemed a good idea to me.

It is designed for duct work but is only about 10000 btu's. 1.9 amps continuous running. 85 cubic feet per minute.

Jeezo I have muffin fans that draw 2.0 amps. My Endless breeze fans draw 2.0 amps. Does the water/flame furnace BLOW air or does it merely weep out of the vents? An RV'er here, moans about his beach camp tent-trailer all the time. Says the fan draws "six amps" which is suspect as he doesn't seem to have instrumentation. Heating a tent doesn't seem to be on an intelligence par with Stephen Hawking, either.

My furnace was drawing 5A or more and was sucking in some cr-ap that was burning and triggering smoke detector. I can't understand how people can sleep with this thing. Gave the bastard out for adoption and put Olympian Cat 6 on the wall. Piece and quiet now, battery is happy too. Got plenty of storage space where the furnace was under sofa.

The fan motor on my forced air unit heater pulls about 5 amps. A platinum propane heater like a Olympic Catalytic 3 or CAT 6 pulls 0 amps, and saves battery charge too.
