I have a big Lambda unit. When the Trace thinks it's finished, I push a DPST momentary button. Ooooooooooooooops, too many amps are flowing. Release button, twist dial on Intermatic 12 hour timer next to the push button. How long? Depends on how many amps I see.
Lazy, shameful, a real disgrace to the slide rule and hydrometer advocates.
