1. I never took an oath NOT to buy an Iota 15, I can still buy one at a later date. With 200w of solar and an in-built 4a charger, I realized my most immediate need is for higher amperage "bulk" or "boost" charging.
2. I am the proud owner of TWO (2) Iota 45s, plus a parallel cable. I keep these in my TT as a reserve in case I find CG shore power so pathetic that my Prosine will not accept it. These "dumb" Iotas will keep producing power well into the 80 volt range. For the same price as a voltage booster (which only boosts marginal voltage but simply rejects unacceptable voltage), I have a method for keeping the A/C going.
