Charger/converter not charging batteries/how to test?

My 1993 Pace Arrow (78k miles) has a Magnetek 50amp Series 900 model 950-2 charger converter. It's not charging the batteries. It will allow interior lights IF I'm plugged in to 120v power. I still ha...

Without question I would replace the converter. The Magnetek is not only old & tired, but useless for correctly charging the batteries. Whatever converter you get, also get one that has 3-4 stage charging. You'll be glad you did.
