In the TT with 2 T-105's I charged a couple of hours every couple of days, when the batteries got down to about 50 or 60% soc. I would bring them up to about 85 or 90%. I would stay out in the forest for between 2 and 4 weeks. Properly charge them when I got home. That seemed to work well enough.
Well, everybody here has been telling me that this is absolute no-no, cycling 60-90 for a few weeks, and only then charging them properly. No-no with flooded, and even a worse no-no with AGM (maybe not really worse, but it hurts the wallet more).

Since I'm only guessing how little power I can get by with in the motorhome, and how much the solar will replace
No need to guess. 100W tilted in your state capital area will collect 20 AH a day in January, more-less. Sorry I misread your post earlier when counted "couple of panels 100W" rather than "100W total". You see, nobody today is getting panels smaller than 100W each.
How little power you can get by with, is a big, big unknown. The number varies from 30 to 300 AH - depending more on a particular user habits than on anything else.
