Now you are experiencing exactly why true cyclable batteries have less porous thicker plate paste and an abundance of electrolyte. They do not have nearly as much recoverable aggregate cycle capacity loss nor un-recoverable capacity loss.
A truly cyclable group 27 size battery would have about 40 ampere hours and would not be a viable product to sell. I wish I could show you a 100X blowup of what the positive plates in a 2 volt battery look like versus a golf car then a car jar battery.
Nothing is free, performance and weight to kWh is traded for durability and ease of recharge recovery. Money enters the picture. Misguided consumers push OEM into a corner then wonder why their "Deep Cycle" battery has a pathetic life span.
Landy's 31, my 34, and uncountable 65's all are abortions as far as violating basic battery construction protocol is concerned. I am so angry about that 115 dollar piece of******under my hood I am seriously considering fitting either an AGM or mounting a medium grade 27 in the trunk.
If BFL could trash all of his car jars and switch to Trojan T-105's his life would become much simpler and easier. But then power pedestal hoppers are being conned into replacing perfectly acceptable (for the usage) car jar batteries with golf car batteries. They get brainwashed so thoroughly they run around bragging about all the benefits their batteries have while being always connected to shore power.
