We don't have a generator in our little C so our V10 is our generator. We installed a heavy gauge (seems to me it was a 2 gauge) wire from chassis battery to coach batteries (two x group 31 AGMs). We see charging rates of anywhere from 11 to 19 amps (sometimes higher) from the V10 at idle, depending if the batteries are down and if I'm running the microwave. We make a point of running the v10 whenever we use the microwave. The v10 makes a good genny. Uses around 1/2 gallon per hour on idle Nice and quiet.
