First thought, try a voltage check on the battery, with truck disconnected and shore power off, then connect truck and check again to ensure you are getting a good connection to the truck. Voltage should come up from 12.5 or so disconnected to 13.8-14.2 with truck connected and running.
That voltage will keep a house battery from going dead, but will never fully recharge it.
