even if it is set up to supply power to the trailer, the wire is usually long enough and small enough guage that it's hard to get more than 10 A, sometimes not even that much back to the trailer. so, it's not really a good charging circuit and if your trailer is running the fridge on DC, likely not enough from the truck to supply that and it's drawing down the battery.
