Brulaz, BFL's controller works different from yours. If you can hold that 14.7 with the absorb then do so. If your controller drops down to float before it gets dark then adjust the float up to 14.7V too. Like BFL said, voltage will drop after dark anyways, that can be your float stage. Of course, when at home, you don't want the high float charge.
