Updated the charging saga in post #1.
I don't have an opinion on keeping LFP in Absorption for a while to compensate for voltage lower than 14.x, hopefully this won't happen often on solar. Voltage climbed slowly to 13.7-13.8 and then notably accelerated and reached 14.2 in less than an hour with current 5A and dropping. Manual shows the end-knee when it's 80% full at 13.6V but it was more like 13.7-13.8 V in my case.
