My converter/charger applies about 13.5 to the batteries +/- a tenth or so. I achieve a full charge out on the highway, where the truck alternator system goes up to 14.5 the first couple of hundred miles and backs off a bit after that.
I would like to get a two or three stage converter but haven't decided to do that yet.
