How are you charging the battery?
1: using the battery charge jack(s) on the honda
2: Plugging in and letting the RV's converter do the job
And if 2: What is the make and model of the converter?
NOTE: the first method above.. You'd do better to replace the battery clips with a trouble light head and put a 12 volt bulb in the socket, that's really about all the 12 volt out on the generator is good for.. Not good for charging
If 2 and the answer to 2b is Magnetek 6300.. Upgrade electronics in converter to Progressive Dynamics 4600 series (Try to match the last two digits as close as you can). Other models of converter post and we can advise.
