Yup load testing takes all day. But how many RVs have the expensive impedance and carbon pile load testers? Let alone how many have performed a base line test on new batteries with that equipment? I haven't and no doubt I'm in the 99.999% camp that haven't. So load testing is an option with more limited equipment.
If I was off grid or much more dependent on battery power for the rig you bet I'd want that equipment and I'd want better than the cheap $600 equipment.
I'll take your word that impedance and carbon pile testing is the way to go. I was just pointing out that Lifeline says these testers are not reliable in determining a battery's actual capacity.
