Meh, so my grand plan of having the cool hands off solar system didn't come to pass. The thought is neat but pretty boring really. At least I wont be hauling the panels in and out each trip.
I got two of the batteries on controllers for a few hours this afternoon. i dropped the setting on the Eco-w to 14.1v since the batteries are showing above 90 F at the terminals. That was the weaker battery and it was down to .75a the last time I checked. The other one was down to 1.8a and then went back up to 2a. At 5 PM it clouded up and no charging is happening.
Those big batteries really do hold the heat in. It was only 82 F today and all three are still hot.
