Yet another PWM Vs MPPT ............
Missing my point - but it's not worth the effort
Just trying to keep things simple
Should have stated exactly 98% efficiency to keep things simple and exactly 13.2 Volts DC (no voltage change) at the battery. Sorry I was not precise enough
I understand very well that if the battery supplies power not amps but power (aka watts a combination of Volts & Current)to the loads the voltage will drop under a large load (it's not a 100% perfect current source, but close}. I see my PV systems as power sources not battery chargers. If the power demands are such that the array can supply 100% of the demand then the battery will supply close to if not Zero power to the loads (as seen with the 2025RV no current flow in or out of the battery) - thus no voltage drop from the battery while the array supplies my power aka WATTS.
Proper Solar PV systems should / can easily be be >95% efficient - X wattage array should be able to put very close X amount of power to the loads - a combination of voltage and current as one of the two variables changes so does the other - power not amps or volts alone but the combination of the two
OK I'm DONE
Back to the Kubota tractors requiring my attention
PS - Yes a few cold brews today so just disregard the rant
Chillin' and Grillin' time.
