Can you use the Eco-W as a PWM controller. NO
While it does use a PWM charging in absorb and float mode, all the power is produced via the buck converter. So you can hook up two 12v in parallel but the controller is still going to use whatever excess voltage to create more amps when in bulk mode.
You can see the converter in use even while the controller is in PWM mode. I can see near the same amps running load in float as in bulk with MPPT. My 245w's exceed 10a Isc even here in Denver but I'll see 16a per panel in float.
