Correct. I use my panels as a power source in the day time. The only loads that could out draw the 30a+ that I could get from the twin 245's was the larger inverter loads. Turn everything on in the trailer at once and even the 230w could provide enough to keep the battery in float.
I'll be interested in the comparison between PWM and MPPT with the Eco-W. I'd do it but I don't have the 12v panels. At least I'll be able to compare what a respectable Chinese made controller with a American name plate will do against the Eco-W but I suspect the difference in output if any will not be worth the expense. The additional features on the other hand.....
