well the fridge cycles on-off
but i find that running the generator in the morning, and letting the solar do maintenance in the afternoon, gives the best "treatment" to the batteries
NOT the most solar gain from the array, but the best management to balance use and cost
actually I Think the best mod i could make right now, would be to replace the fridge
with one designed for solar, that has a 12VDC compressor
this would be easier than replacing the solar and greatly reduce my power requirements
