Never been to Q, but it sounds like a hucksters paradise? Like paying $8 for a hotdog at a sports venue?
As for ebay prices, I see this all the time... for example, the exact same item, several for sale at $50, but one vendor wants $300+. You have to just disregard these outrageous extremes. Folks also get caught up in bidding wars, and end up paying more than the buy-it-now price!
