When You put panels in series, the voltage is added
The only time you will see voc, is when the batteries are fully charged and you have a peak Sun condition on the panels
Say at noon, after driving all morning ?
Not saying you don't have to be aware voc,
But you do need to know the chances and times of it happening
I'm not sure I would series panels using the echo worthy
All my panels are parallel, because I had/have the same problem with the blue sky 2000e
If I series the panels the voc is above the input limit for the controller and it is MPPT, but with a low limit
Any way it developed a problem and I had to install my backup controller
A Xantrex C40 PWM controller, at least I didn't have to change any wiring, everything in my system is parallel
