When people use "performance" to mean more watts instead of more amps, there is no point in arguing. Batteries use amps not watts.

Will my 400amp 5Vdc power supply directly charge your batteries?
Was hoping for an answer - guess not - lots of amps there ......

Testing MPPT systems with a array of around 17Voc is a waste of time
I agree MPPT controllers installed in such systems are most of the time a waste of money or simply bragging rights that money could be better spent with more array wattage and a simple PWM controller.
MPPT shines with higher voltage arrays which are typically higher wattage
