A lot of the off-shore produced metal items have issues. When we installed a well on our property I use galvanized steel pipe as I did not want to replace the line in the short balance of my lifetime. Sadly started having leaks in 3 years. When I pulled the first replaced section out I notice a remaining tag on the pipe "Made in China". Funny the tag lasted longer than the steel pipe. Talked to Home Depot about the problem and the response was, " The pipe lasted more than a year, not our problem". Beware of anything made of metal produced outside of the USA even if sold by a USA company.
