Let me ask this question: I just bought a new TT (hypothetical) for North of $20K. I will want a 12v system that is reliable and works adequately for my needs. *Here's the question* Will one 10AWG wire lead from the battery box on the tongue, interrupted by a cheap circuit breaker fastened to the tongue or frame (in the weather) be OK?
I have more of these "questions" regarding commensurate value, proper wiring technique, and system design. I'm sure others know about these very things.
