Without this little jewel i wouldn't be able to cut cable (crippled hands). I have cut 350 MCM CU which is 2 sizes larger than 4/0 cable. The head opens up
I have one of those, and yes it is a very nice tool. I've cut many a piece of 4/0 with them and they seem to last reasonably long.
