Nope, it really is about 50' ONE WAY from the converter to the battery. Probably more like 60' actually. Brilliant design eh?

Battery terminals have recently been serviced and the voltage at the battery is almost the same as the voltage at the disconnect so that leaves the disconnect wiring and everything in between as the prime suspects. At least it narrows it down some.
