Anyone have a clever idea of what to use or how to do it?
All I can think of is a shop-vac and a brush on a stick..
The styrofoam bits are a sign that mice have chewed the styrofoam intake/exhaust divider in the AC unit. Pull the ceiling grill and see how much damage has been done. You may need to replace some of it.
