Cleaning Onan generator slip rings
Howdy, has any one bought that slick stick to clean the slip rings on their generator? Wondering if I can perform that operation without dropping the generator. Thanks to all who reply.

As Doug points out, a gen with bad slip rings generally won't generate power at all and newer generators will not run. That load makes a difference sounds like a heat issue.
