Not long ago I got somewhat of a shock to learn the all-mechanical Rolex oyster kept terrible time accuracy. Sorta like a Rolls Royce that burns oil.
My Tissot is maybe off by 10 seconds per month or less. I reset the time when the date needs to be advanced. It has been more accurate than some quartz movements that I have seen.
