We like and buy the cheapest, largest number size, sharpest color contrast between background and hands, best outer frame color coordinated, quartz movement powered by AA (not AAA) batteries .... clocks we can find. The ultimate find for us is one that is also automatcially kept precision set by radio signals from NIST.

We usually can get all of the above for under $20.
