Cold water pressure

I have very low cold water pressure at all location in my RV. The Hot water pressure is good in all locations. Does anyone have an idea what might be the problem. I looked to see if I could tell where the cold and hot water splits, but must be further into the rv.

Maybe the cold input to the water heater is closest to the pump and there is a restriction between it and the rest of the system. Look around the water heater for any bypass valves or other valves that may not be fully turned on. Otherwise maybe a kinked hose somewhere between the water heater and other fixtures?
  • we bought a new to us TT and we are having the same issues. I cleaned out the screens in the faucets and put on a new shower head and still have low pressure. hope you don't think I'm high jacking your post, I only posted so I can keep an eye on the answers so I can fix mine too. thanks for posting. doesn't make any difference in mine whether the pump is on or using shore water hose.

Need more information... is this hooked up to shore water? Using your pump? How are you measuring pressure? What are the readings? Are you using a pressure regulator on the inlet?
  • Cold water comes in via 'city water' connection OR from on-board pump discharge. Feeds ALL cold water lines to fixtures and to inlet of water heater.....which then supplies all hot water. The two systems spit at water heater.

Having good hot water pressure and low cold water pressure is very strange as the cold water pressure is what forces water thru water heater to get hot water.

Typically low flow is due to clogged aerators on faucets but that affects both hot & cold.
Low hot water pressure s typically bad check valve on water heater outlet.

Can't think of a reason for good hot and low cold water pressure :H

    Basic water system.....

Problem (low cold water pressure) happen with either water source (city water...hose and/or on-board pump)????
