Will SJTW work, just don't dump oil on it.
I always thought the SJOOW was more flexible, especially in cold weather. (SOOW is much thicker because it is designed for up to 600V operation.) - theoldwizard1Explorer II

Looks like good stuff (high strand count = maximum flexibility).

EDIT : They sell it on their web site, but OMG ! $2.41/foot !! - wa8yxmExplorer III

Not turning anything up on the Amazon.
Do not know what SJEOW means but I got my cold and I mean COLD weather 30 amp extender at General RV.. THe thing that stood out is the color. NOT black. 13 years later I need to put a new outlet end on it.. So it's wound up in my RV waiting for me to get to the parts store again (part is waiting there) the thing is wound about the same size as those new steel wrapped garden hoses are when still banded to the card. That is one tight coil. it was cold when I wound it. - theoldwizard1Explorer IIFor you DIYers, I have found the best place to buy portable cordage and wire in general is https://www.wireandcableyourway.com/
They have SJEOOW, same temp range as Polar (-50ºC to +105ºC) and stranding (104/30) and only $1.07 plus shipping. - theoldwizard1Explorer II

Ignore the S
J = only good for 300V (if the J is missing, then 600V)
E = elastomeric outer insulation
O = oil resistant outer insulation
OO = oil resistant outer and inner insulation
W = water resistant
T = thermoset plastic insulation - stiff when cold
no second letter means "rubber" insulation - GordonThreeExplorerSjow or sjoow would work. Prefer junior cable, don't need 600v insulation rating.
When I'm back from my Canadian road trip I'll see what the local welder supply can order for me.
Thanks for the ideas all! - pauldubExplorer

- Cummins12V98Explorer IIIThe "SOW" cord pictured above was from a Construction 50A temp power spider box. VERY flexible in cold weather.
