The biggest issue with household fridge in RV - if not the only one - is that you need a grid power or daily generator. Or a lot of batteries and good inverter. People might be right about cables too.
Edit - PS: I "think" that with my 500W solar and 300 AH bank I could afford a small efficient compressor fridge. Either office-size 120V fridge or a 12V fridge. Still a burden, but possible. On a rainy day my solar can barely get batteries to full in the evening - without fridge. With 1 or 2 batteries and no solar - I wouldn't want it. Most people with 120V fridges are on grid, AFAIK.
