I will be taking one long trip with this MH which will involve daily driving so if I can keep the fridge cold overnight I will be OK. I will not have a toad so the Toy will be home and daily driver. After that I will be taking local excursions here in FL and using AC most of the time, so much generator usage or campgrounds.
I am going to head your advice and make accommodations for 2 GC batteries, so I can install if needed. Or maybe I will give up and reinstall the RV fridge : )
Do you have things set up so that your alternator charges your house battery while you drive?
If so, you don't need to buy anything!
Your fridge can cool down while you drive, and maybe for a little while in the evening off battery. Then unplug it overnight. It won't lose its coldness if you don't open the door too many times.
My freezer stays frozen for 3 days unplugged. I open it once a day. Arrange your food so you don't have to spend time digging for stuff.
