Crosscheck has somewhat verified that the Danfoss daily power consumption graph seems to be in line.crosscheck wrote:
Most of our camping experience with this fridge have been mild to very warm but not oppressively hot.
We figure anywhere from 30-65amp/hrs per day for this unit.
"Somewhat", yes. Crosscheck's unit is 1.5 times larger than 150L, and the ambient is "very warm", which I suspect is warmer than 77F from Danfoss graph. And yet, it draws only 1.3 times more than 150L unit from Danfoss graph. Consider that Crosscheck's unit is not just a fridge, but includes a substantial freezer chamber, and then Danfoss numbers become way off line. Like 50-70% off.
Not to mention the title "BD 35" under the graph that goes to volumes as high as 9 cu.ft. and shows +200 AH consumption for a compressor that draws 3A (BD35) or 5A (BD50), considering that a day has only 24 hours :B
