Condensation inside voyager camera

Just got around to calling RV cams, and replacing the camera only is $329 through them. Salesman there said condensation is rare out of hundreds sold. How many here have NOT had condensation with their Voyagers, and if not, how long have you had the system???

Wonder if putting a plastic bag over camera would help, removing only when needed such as backing into a tight spot?? RV Cams (877-378-2267) sells lots of these cameras & others, so wonder what their recomendation might be?

We tried the hair dryer....little improvement, but thanks.

For those more impatient or having a screw driver, alcohol or alcohol based electronic spray cleaner is your new helper.

In researching the problem, one customer stated he was given a new camera, since it was still under warranty. Ours is also, but what an inconvenience finding time to take it in for service. This shouldn't be happening so often, IMHO. This camera and monitor was quite expensive.

very good question, I was literally going to ask the very same thing....I went as far as beginning to take the camera apart, but after taking off big screws, little screws, and so on, I came across what looks like a small computer board, way to complex for me to start unscrewing. :h I'll be watching to see if there's an easier way, Thanks again for asking.
