Yes, but that is enough for the OP's array flat on roof. I could only get about 18 amps from my 255w 60 cell panel aimed right at a high sun.
The controller itself seems to be just fine for the OP's array and it can do all those setting tricks.
PT, you are allowed to have two controllers you know :) I have the 255w and 20 amp controller from the 5er we had, and the three 100w and another 20 amp controller that was on the Truck Camper we had and put the whole works on the roof of the Class C we have now. I put the two arrays up there and put the two controllers, both set to the same voltage on the battery bank. They add their amps no problem.
555w on 450AH even beats your crazy 100 per 100 rule ISTR :)
