No the 2.9 amps was with nothing else running. With the refrigerator on the amperage needed to maintain absorption was 5.1. That is how I know that the refrigerator pulls 2.2 amps. That also corresponds to the specs from Nova Kool. Looking at the amps needed for absorption is a simple way to approximate the load of different devices. My amps jump up about 2 amps when I charge my computer. Camera battery charging only pulls about 1 amp per battery. I don't have anything else except for LED lights.
