Yes, and this was at 4.30 pm, and controller still wanted to stay in Absorb - because the timer restarted several times, last time it was (apparently) less than 2 hours ago. Batteries are full, but controller is still trying to boil it at 14.3.
GET A BETTER CONTROLLER. You need Absorb time to be self-adjusting.
I would't be comfortable with raising Float to 14.3 and doing Absorb in Float (to avoid all these dropping off and restarting timer again). Float should be - well, nobody knows exactly where, but it should be where it should be :). Depending on somebody's particular use, optimal Float might differ by 0.1.-0.2V from where the factory says it should be, though I doubt it should be as high as 14.x.
It's also nice to have all setpoints to be easily manipulated, ex. making Float voltage a little higher or lower on some days if you feel this is necessary, why not.
