On the other hand, I'll be looking for a good lightly used EV. I'm sure at least some folks will hate them. Their disappointment may be my joy.
If I needed a car (RET, so I don’t..) I’ll admit that environment aside, EV would be somewhat intriguing, but I believe that in many scenarios (user specific) an even stronger case overall ($$) might be made for the latest plug-in generation of hybrids, especially in the ‘harvest rich’ potentially self-supporting Sun-belt region :) …But that’s just me….Unfortunately, the grid (as is it is currently outfitted) is marginal at best, making a mass-EV transition problematic, and lithium is a relatively rare ‘big-bang moment only’ element, so of short term availability…Hopefully, in the near future we’ll soon see another carbon-friendly battery breakthrough that’ll take the place of lithium…
