Bottom line is that while EV’s might truly present a ‘joyful ownership’ experience, any claims of EV’s making a positive net impact to the environment seem overly simplistic and curiously superficial (as with windmills, lacking authentic environmental ‘net gain’ evaluation), while driven by the currency of ‘green’ tax subsidies and by ‘feel-good’ politics (as if on cue…).
As with ALL other ‘well intentioned’ but ill-conceived rush to wars (say, since Viet Nam…) the current war on boogyman carbon dioxide (setting forth the pre-supposition of yet another Emergency), is yet another stab at shallow public policy making - Think Forrest Gump…
As far a nuclear goes (unlike most other solutions), at least nuclear waste has a half life (think lead), and is recyclable…
