So maybe my flaming thermister caught fire because its related set of capacitors failed? So when they gave me a beefier thermistor instead and it too over-heated, same thing? No wait, I put in the new thermister and it worked ok for a while. Maybe just my poor effort at circuit board repair on that one. (We didn't take that in "Industrial Arts" in 1956, so not my fault. The dog ate it :) )
Yipes. Even more reason to be careful with this one if it has the same set of capacitors.
I really, really like this PowerMax 100amper and I don't want to wreck it by being clumsy with it. :(
