I can do it that way with my clamp on method, thanks for the tip.
I was wondering if a slower start would help too. I can set the voltage lower and get lower amps at first then ease it up to eventually reach 100a after a couple minutes. I see that is how my 40a Vector operates.
Would that make a difference?
