My original PM3 100 amper had the SCK202R5 which is 2.5 ohm but only 9a. When it burnt, they sent me the SL5R020 as replacement. That burnt too but could have been my poor repair job.
When that burnt, they replaced the unit with the prototype 100amper external variable etc, to try out instead, and it has whatever that thing is in the photo, with numbers ending 025. That has now burnt out too.
I don't know what the production models of the various versions of their 100ampers have, but they can't all be burning out or we would hear about it. Which is why I suspect it is something I am doing wrong.
So with no guidance this time, I was thinking SCK302R5 which is still 2.5 ohm but 18a. As it happens, the local shop could not get those, but he is able to get the SL5R020. Which I have already ordered (he has lower shipping cost than me getting it online)---so no changing minds now please! :)
