If you don't install the 1 ohm part this time, you always have the chance to do it the next time it fails. Or you can just keep replacing the 5 ohm part. I'm just saying the 1 ohm part could be more reliable.
It's nothing you did wrong. It's not designed correctly. It failed right at turn-on. Correct?
