Hi BFL13,
The Yamaha 3000 iSEB (boost 500 watts for ten seconds) as it is loaded the voltage drops. I can't see how an over load would cause and over voltage event. I can see it causing an under voltage event.

When you add too many appliances to the Honda EU3000i gen while it is running the other loads, so it pops its breaker, when it pops, is there an "overvoltage event" just before power is cut off?
